Joanna Lynn Van Ness, 48 , left this earth to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 25, 2014. She was a resident of Elwood, Indiana for the past 13 years. Joanna is preceded in death by: her father Paul Dean Van Ness and grandparents Woodrow & Maxine Wilson of Richmond, Indiana. She is survived by: her mother, Deborah Kay Van Ness; brother, Jerry Michael Van Ness; her companion of 13 years, Chris Davis; as well as step-brother Thomas J (Lynn) Van Ness, Palm Bay, Florida, Katherine J. (Jeannie) (Jim) Trebley, Glenwood, Indiana, Debra K. (Debbi) (Ron) Houston, Glenwood, Indiana, Aunt Rebecca C. (Becky) (Hancel) Abner , Victoria S. (Vicky) (Jim) Boling, Indianapolis, Indiana, along with 10 nieces & nephews and 16 great nieces & nephews and 2 cousins and their families. She also leaves her furry babies; (The Dogs) Stalker, Sting, Maggie May & Pumpkin the cat and a host of friends. She loved her furry kids and any flowers or memoriams are asked to be in the form of donations to the Hamilton County Humane Society. She was loved dearly by her family & friends and will be sorely missed. A memorial is being planned and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
